Music Policy Shaya FM is a music and talk broadcasting network which serves Mthwakazi and Southern African people in the Diaspora. We play authentic music and air talk programming which is informative and reflects the culture and the heritage of the people of Mthwakazi. Our music policy focuses on Mthwakazi and Southern Africa (Kwaito, House, Afro-Jazz, Gospel, Mbaqanga, Kalanga Rumba) and many more music styles. NEWS Everyday we tune into Studio 7 at 7.30pm (BST) which enables us to provide very balanced News. Our broadcasters also carry news items and current affairs during their programmes. AUDIENCE We have carried out surveys which have enables us to gain insight into the background of our listeners. We take into consideration our audience's age, location and , inter alia, musical taste. Our listeners are from different backgrounds and all ages.
